They further claimed that this is how Hapbee works:

Backing this claim is their statement that with over 15 years of research, Hapbee is backed with patented technology. Hapbee magnetic field uses frequencies from 0-22Khz, and it is non-ionizing and non-thermal.

Sounds incredible right?
Currently this device is in its production stage, and the people behind this project claimed to have realized $382,747 USD from 898 backers with 8 days left. So they need you to make a donation, and then select a perk.
Even if Hapbee is a well-known platform for crowd fundraising, it's always a good idea to double check before jumping. First of all, please forgive me. I adore Kickstarter endeavors.
However, consider this: for the Hapbee device to truly function, it must be fueled by a truly groundbreaking discovery. If this device performed as promised, do you think mental health experts wouldn't be lining up to use it?
And it would be amazing to learn that low energy magnetic fields might influence mental states. This would be a completely new area of neuroscience research.
Funny how those who support this Hapbee crap believe that "big pharma" or whatever theory makes the most sense in relation to the product wants to keep it away from the public because they’re evil or something.
Which conveniently ignores the reality that healthcare businesses' top priority is profits in a country like the US where the private sector handles the majority of healthcare delivery. If a device such as this could be made to work consistently and again, it would be a treasure for them.
Why, you ask, do I believe that this Hapbee is nothing more than a goofy scam? Don't exit this page just yet, though. The reasons we believe this gadget is nothing more than a crappy metal object are enumerated below.

It doesn't really explain how this works, and aside from the odd blablabla Kghz assertion and a few videos from purported "amazed enterpreneurs," it doesn't cite any real scientific study from reliable sources.
However, it describes itself as a "augmentative gadget" that uses electromagnetic radiation with a very low frequency to induce specific "moods."

When we looked up this crowdsourcing website online. We found that the reviews left by those who had previously contributed to their "scientific projects" were unfavorable.
To put it succinctly, it appears that Indiegogo (IGG) is a website that promotes hoaxes posing as science.
